Meet Alex Ozarski

I’m originally from San Diego, California and I’m now a sophomore Finance major at The University of Texas at Austin in the McCombs School of Business. I was previously a Division I women’s rower at UT—where my team won the SEC Championship—and I’m currently on the UT women’s lacrosse team.

Outside of academics and athletics, I’m into yoga sculpt, pilates, cooking, being outside, and anything near the ocean. I also used to be a surf instructor.

I’m passionate about business and finance, and I love connecting what I learn in class to real-world strategy, markets, and investing. I’m competitive, disciplined, and team-oriented—traits I’ve built through years of athletics.

I competed as a Division I women’s rower at Texas and experienced the intensity of training, early mornings, and competing at the highest level. My team won the SEC Championship, which is still one of my proudest moments. Now, I bring that same discipline to UT women’s lacrosse.

Outside of school

Ocean + outdoors

Growing up in San Diego made me an ocean person for life. I used to be a surf instructor, and I still try to get back to the water whenever I can.
